Our Services

Center Counselor

Our Center Counselor helps to connect members to CIP programs, community resources, and benefit programs.

Housing Counseling

Our Housing Counseling program provides renters and homeowners with support in securing and maintaining safe and affordable housing.

Ombudsman Program

Our Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program provides complaint investigation and advocacy for residents of long-term care facilities in Northwest and Northeast Philadelphia.

Service Coordination

Our Service Coordinators serve residents of two senior housing complexes, offering care planning, linkage to resources, and coordination of resident activities.

Energy Center

Our Neighborhood Energy Center provides access to utility assistance programs, weatherization resources, and support for individuals facing utility shut-offs.

In-Home Support

Our In-Home Support Program shares referrals and coordinates short-term services aimed at helping you to age in place in your home and community.

Amazing organization that serves the seniors of the Germantown, Logan, Mt. Airy, and surrounding areas! Very great staff who are friendly and informative. The center provides day services for seniors as well as different events that provide information and resources for the community. Great day care center for adults. They have a lot to get involved in the course of a day. You can’t get bored. They also have meals, that they give you. They help you out with utilities, and a host of other things to help out seniors…

The Heart Behind Our Mission

About Us

Center in the Park (CIP) is a nationally accredited senior community center located in Philadelphia’s Germantown neighborhood. Our Center programs provide opportunities for adults age 55+ to get active, engage in the arts, develop new skills, connect with others, and have fun!

Our social services offerings – including our Housing Counseling Program, Neighborhood Energy Center, In-Home Support Program, and Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program – provide direct support for older adults and their caregivers.
