Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program

If you or a loved one is utilizing or residing in a nursing home, assisted living facility, personal care boarding home, domiciliary care home, or adult day center in Northeast or Northwest Philadelphia, our Long-Term Care Ombudsman staff and volunteers are here for you!

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program helps to protect the rights of individuals in long-term care settings. Staff and volunteer ombudsmen visit long-term care facilities, inform residents of their rights, and investigate complaints. Ombudsman services are free and can assist in multiple areas related to residents’ care and residents’ rights.

Center in the Park’s Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program advocates for long-term care consumers in Northeast and Northwest Philadelphia. Long-Term Care facilities in Center City, North Central, South, South West, and West Philadelphia are served by the Long-Term Care Ombudsman program at CARIE.
