Our Neighborhood Energy Center provides access to utility assistance programs, weatherization resources, and support for individuals facing utility shut-offs.
Neighborhood Energy Center
Center in the Park is a Neighborhood Energy Center (NEC) providing utility assistance services. We can help you to lower your utility bills through energy conservation, develop a budget to manage household expenses, and apply for utility assistance and weatherization programs available to low- and moderate-income families. Our goal is to help you remain in your home and manage utility expenses through conservation and subsidy assistance.

- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
- Low Income Conservation Assistance Program (LICAP)
- PGW Hardship Funds Grant
- PGW Customer Responsibility Program (CRP)
- Tiered Assistance Program (TAP) for water bills
- Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)
- Utility Emergency Services Fund (UESF) *for water assistance only
- Emergency Heating Oil Assistance
- Utility Assistance

The NEC is open from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for appointments and walk-ins. The NEC is open on Fridays for appointments only.

- 30 days Proof of Household Income
- Social Security Cards for all Household Members
- Current Utility Bills & Shut Off Notices
- Dates of Birth for All Household Members
- PGW Customer Responsibility Program (CRP)
- Tiered Assistance Program (TAP) for water bills
- Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)
- Utility Emergency Services Fund (UESF) *for water assistance only
- Emergency Heating Oil Assistance
- *Some applications may require additional documentation depending upon eligibility requirements.
